Ice wraps come with an ice pack and a strap so you can put the ice on your elbows, wrists, knees or ankles without having to manually hold it in place. That way you can do things with your hands. It’s still good to keep the area relatively still during and a little while after using ice, so don’t walk around with ice packs on your knees or ankles. But it just makes using the ice easier.
I got a shoulder ice pack long ago, but it’s hard to put on. It helps if you lean against a wall to help hold it in place, as you tighten the Velcro.
I’ll do some reviews of the ice packs after trying them out. The main things to look for are durability of the ice packs themselves.
